Magnesia Falls Cove Association, currently a work in progress, is dedicated to enhancing the resilience of our neighborhood in the face of potential emergencies, particularly earthquakes and floods. We focus on educating and equipping residents to be better prepared in times of crisis. While we are rooted in our neighborhood, our activities and events are open to anyone who shares our mission of resilience, connected community, and preservation.
We serve as a valuable resource, sharing information through our website and newsletters about nonprofit-led hikes, emergency preparedness events and more. Our organization works to create a safer, more culturally enriched, and connected neighborhood and city.
In addition, we support efforts to celebrate the iconic mid-century modern architecture that is an integral part of our neighborhood's character. By collaborating on preservation efforts, we aim to ensure that these architectural gems continue to be appreciated and enjoyed by future generations.
Our ongoing relationships with nonprofits such as: Preservation Mirage, Friends of the Desert Mountains, Coachella Valley Disaster Preparedness Network, Modernism Week, FIND Food Bank, Bighorn Institute and the Rancho Mirage Emergency Preparedness Commission serve as valuable resources as we boost our community’s collective efforts.
Together, we are dedicated to building a community that is not only architecturally rich but also connected and resilient in the face of adversity. We foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that makes our neighborhood and city a better place to live.
